This week, Year 6 have been using their DT skills to design, make and evaluate a moving toy, using cams.

The children worked extremely hard: following instructions, using tools safely and combining their cut our materials. 

We talked about cams, what they are and how they are used, before the children decided on what shaped cam they needed to create their required movement.

These structures will be on display in the KS2 library, but watch the video to see more.
